Bridget and Jon || Wedding

This day was a hot one. 95 degree temps and that intense Michigan humidity. Thankfully this wedding was on the lakeshore and every so often I could dip my toes in for a quick refreshment. Enjoyed every minute of this day, even if it started with my co-shooter Amanda and I stranded on the side of I-96 with a flat tire for twenty minutes in our wedding clothes. WHADDA SIGHT, I’m sure. Thankfully, a nice man came to rescue us (I totally could’ve changed the tire if I had to), and we still arrived early.

Loved photographing Bridget and Jon’s lakeside wedding at her Grandparents’ cottage. Such an honor to meet these two who had come home from California to get married in the presence of their family and friends. Love this job.

Big ole’ thanks to Amanda VanVels, for shooting with me and capturing some great moments. Some of the above images are hers. You da bomb, girl; let’s do this more often. And shout out to Bridget’s Grandpa for building that amazing pile of driftwood. I shot there and shot there and shot there and loved it.
